Originally released in May 2014, Very Green was ahead of its time and anchored an explosively creative period at Tree House. Now, in 2024, we have brewed hundreds of batches of this beer, traveled the world to learn the subtle nuances of Galaxy, and, through constant iteration and refinement, dedicated our working lives to making it a beer we love to drink. It would be impossible to overstate its importance to Tree House. For this celebratory batch, we’ve included Galaxy, sourced exclusively from Tasmania, and a hint of Citra from Oregon. This Citra is particularly juicy and serves to amplify the core hop blend of Very Green further. Finally, a very small splash of Motueka rounds out the sweet lemon-lime note that makes Very Green

Hoppy and fruity, somewhat dry. Citrus, pineapple, green grass and high tides. One of the better house trees.

16 oz can shared by ClarkVV. Thank you. Aroma is bready malt, pineapple, soft grapefruit. Flavor is the fruit with a some sharp herb , or pine like finish. The herb pine character is a bit much for my personal taste. Some juice character with a pillow like mouth. Still pretty good.

Canned 6/4/24, drunk 6/30/24. Moderately to heavily hazy, big bronze-maize-golden. Fluffy, white head, steadily to spotty cover. Big, juicy, candied citrus with definite citra and Motueka elements and less given to the austere bitterness of galaxy. Spruce berries and light pineapple. Maybe a bit of aspirin. No booze. Soft, juicy, with heavy spice, moderate bitterness and strong, drying galaxy. Good body and texture but just a bit more spruce than I'd care for, per usual, with this hop. I guess the citra and Motueka lighten things.

6/4/24 Live well! Candied citrus, orange, citrus pith. Soft, clean, lots of flavor. Balanced bitterness in the finish.

Pours a hazy, golden yellow, with mid-sized head. Aroma is tropical fruit and citrus. Flavor follows, with a touch of hop bitterness. Soft mouthfeel.
