Can drunk 6/22/24. Clear brick red with a beige head showing moderate retention. Peach and red fruit as the hops and specialty malts interact. Good base malt depth and seeming attenuation. Clean, with a bit of biscuit and cracker and low hopping. In the mouth it's not given over to too much specialty malt and has an excellent base malt depth and is dry, clean and crisp. Excellent water character, soft mineral. Low, spicy hops and great, polished balance all around.

Bottle pour. It's a clear gold with nice sparkle, finger-width off-white head with fair retention and no lacing. Aroma is strong slightly musty European malts, baguette crust. Taste follows aroma--an overall lightly toasted grain effect. Mouthfeel is light bodied with thin, frothy texture, average carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, this style is kind of boring to me so has a certain ceiling but it's a good representative and well made.
