Leftover from last year’s Adventskalender. Put it on the stove and heated to moderately warm, then poured from the pot. Black with a fizzing beige head that goes creamy. Big chocolate aroma. Vanilla. Berry jam. Taste is sweet with fruity, slightly tart hints around the edges. Bittersweet and slightly fruity finish with lingering hot chocolate. Unusual warm feel, boozy. Interesting one. Not bad.

Svart med lys brunt skum på den oppvarmede versjonen. Brunt på den kalde. To ganske forskjellige versjoner. Den kalde lukter og smaker mørk sjokolade, lakris og vanilje. Den oppvarmede noe mot kokos, kakao og alkohol, smaker varm sjokolade, noe søt lakris og alkohol. Morsom. Liker den oppvarmede versjonen et hakk bedre.

Can from Beyond Beer Geek Edition Advent calendar and consumed sat in Frank at Osterhofen (Nby) Bahnhof, Wednesday 26th February 2025. This pours black with a light beige head. Wow lots of chocolate, super thick mouthfeel and with a creamy vanilla finish. It tastes a little boozy and warming but really good, I didn't have it hot but actually not bothering about that. Great super indulgent Impy Stout.

Sample from can at Remko's bierproefavond 20dec2024. Didn't take notes, preferred the nice company. Have to say on beforehand that I'm not a big fan of Omnipollo. We tasted this one cold and hot (my first beer ever poured out of a pan...) Remember the cold one aroma and taste too much 'artificial' dark chocolate and nothing else. I can hardly call it a beer. The hot one taste a little better, a little less artificial, but a bit more alcoholic. Overall, as you can Guess, not my kind of beer at all. But glad that I've tasted this hot beer thanks to Remko, because I would never have bought it myself and it definitely was a memorable experience.

Can. Served both cold and heated. Big foamy tan head on the heated one, minimalistic on the cold. Unclear dark brown body. Dark chocolate aroma. Roasted malts, cocoa and a burnt hint. Some herbal, piney notes in the heated one. The cold one is more on the herbal, spiced side. Toffee in both. It’s full-bodied and smooth, warming and softly carbonated. Not much carbonation in the heated one. The cold one has more coffee flavor than the heated one. Lots of dark chocolate and cocoa in the flavor. Booze in both. Lasting finish in both. Not sure which I prefer, both are nice, but a bit boozy and sweet. 241130
