A beautifully balanced Russian Imperial Stout with a well-rounded finish. The roasted and dark malts give it the dark color and the complex palate with notes of chocolate, coffee and caramel. A tough guy with 10.5% alc.

33 cl. can @ home, gift from Alex and Suus. Black with a thin beige head. Roasted malts, sweet coffee, chocolate, even some hops. Taste is fairly bitter with a sweet touch. Also close to spicy. Smooth carbonation and somehow very crisp mouthfeel. Seems strange for a RIS but it really is, it has some real liveliness to it. Very well done.

On tap at Homeland. Black colour, beige head. Aroma of ash, bitumen, roast, caramel, something quite sweet. Flavour is both sweet and harsh bitter, not blending in very well but still interesting. Certainly not your average RIS. Medium bodied.
