28/3/2019. Bottle shared at the Craft Beer Co, St Mary Axe. Pours very dark brown with a mid sized beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, vanilla, light ash and wood. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness and body. Oily texture, average carbonation.

Tap@Craft Beer Co Covent Garden (Pete/Vicki meetup 09/03/2019) - dark brown to black pour with a tan head. Roasted and sweet malty with chocolate, caramel, some coffee roast, medium body, touch of spice into the dark malty roasted finish.

Can: Poured a pitch black with beige head. Aroma is roasty. Taste is mixed roasted and Smokey malts, balanced finish of some milky chocolate.

Can 330ml. shared by Scopey @ queue for GBBF 2016, Great [ British Beer Festival 2016 ], London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX. [ As Up Front Brewing Ahab ].Clear dark black brown colour with a large to huge, frothy - creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, dark roasted, wood. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, roasted, coffee, dark malt, malt bitter, medium dry. Can split at Bodney Heights, thanks to Daniel, 22/02/18. Light black with a big tan cap. Nose is dark fruit rinds, leather, spice, charr, mellow roast, faint cocoa. Taste comprises ashen tones, cocoa rub, spice, charr, dusty tones, toffee. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close. Ok.

Can. Appearance - opaque brown to black. Nice fawn head. Nose - creamy chocolate, malt milk. Taste - burnt biscuit, sweet creamy chocolate. Toffee/caramel in there too. Palate - medium bodied, creamy and elegant throughout. Overall - nice stout alright!

330ml can. Pours pitch black with a large foamy white head. Aroma of roasty malts, coffee, vanilla and hints of earthiness. Taste is roasty, sweetish and slightly roasty with some vanilla and coffee. Finish is roasty and earthy with some hints of licorice, coffee and berries. Okay.

Can. Pours a dark brown color with a small off-white head. Has a roasted malty caramel aroma. Roasted malty caramel and chocolate flavor. Has a roasted malty caramel and chocolate finish.
