Craft near Tottenham Court Road war zone. Keg. Hazy gold beer, small white head. Smooth palate, good fine carbonation. Soft malt cream. Nice floral jasmine rides over fresh and bitterish yellow grapefruit. Finishes smooth with the grapefruit hitterness lingering on. Nice juxtaposition of flavours.

Tap. Friends of Ham, Leeds. Hazy, greeny gold. Thin, glossy, super sticky, white head. Bready. Yeasty. Grainy malts. A little floral. Some peachy fruit. Taste is dry. Soft, bready sweet. Light, welcome, tartness on the palate. Some oiliness. Finishes light dry, turning gentle, lasting bitter. Nice, crisp, hoppy saison.

Cask at Beer Rebellion, GH. It pours clear golden with a small white head. The nose is sweet, fruity, ginger & lemon tea, earth, orange rind, straw, fruit salad sweets and spice. The taste is crisp, pretty bitter, spicy, grapefruit rind, lemon, light citrus acidity, straw, toasty grass, ginger and hay with a lingering bitter-dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Solid cask saison-style action.
