Aroma is candy malt, grain, floral, pine. Taste has a high pithy bitterness backed by mild candy sweet malt.

Can shared at work, courtesy of Nathan, thanks dude! Pours copper with a thin, off-white head. Nose is light caramel and bready notes, citrus zest and pine. Taste is citruses and light grassy notes upfront, with hints of pine, then there’s a sweetish malty, caramel touch and the finish is also dry and bitter. Medium to big bodied with average carbonation. Proper AIPA.

Can from a Chicago store. Pours clear rich dark amber with a large spongy beige head, faint resin aroma, adequate carbonation, medium bitter slightly piney malt taste, thin smooth body, and long medium bitter finish. A very smooth American IPA.

Very good beer! Appearance is a clear medium Amber with a long lasting off-white head and plenty of lace. Aroma is a blend of malt and a very fragrant Citrus grassy hop. Flavor is similar to nose with hops slightly dominating The Malt; a little sweet up front, bitter finish. Really good drinking beer.

On tap at Firkin. Pours a clear gold with a white head that lasts throughout the beer and laces nicely. Aroma has notes of pine and bitter citrus with backing hay and grain. Flavor begins with grapefruit and transfers to bitter grapefruit with a bit of a grass and hay backbone.
