Bottled. Deep orange colour, small white head. Aroma is floral, herbal and some slight sweet malts to it. Flavour is rather much the same elements in a nice balance. Nice fruity aftertaste. Yet feels a bit watery.

Bottle. M&S. Hazed, dark orange. Frothy, uneven, lasting, dirty white head. Nose has pithy citrus, particularly lemon and orange. Spicy, old world hop. Slightly buttery, cereal malts. Taste has some buttery sweetness, and a grassy, leafy bitterness. More of the buttery thing on the palate. Full on fizz. Grassy and leafy bitterness to finish. Well, it smelled ok, but dipped a bit after that.

33cl bottle from M&S, Camberley, ABV 5%. A golden amber pour with a loose cream head, and heavy carbonation to start; aroma of orange juice with a touch of spice; crisp bitter orange taste; with a dry spicy finish with orange zest and lingering orangey malt. Rather good.

Bottle from Marks&Spencer Westfield London and drunk on a train. As Tower Pale Ale 5.0% abv. Clear amber colour lasting beige head. Malty aroma. Yes like a prium bitter. Some citrus hops but some attractive sweet malt too. Some light toffee some grapefruit and sparky lemon some attractive bitterness to the finish. Decent strong bitter beer.

Bottle at home, 21/01/17. Clear golden amber with a moderate off white covering. Nose is malt forward, toffee, sweet tang, light orange peel. Taste comprises caramel, light floral notes, toasted grains, biscuit malt. Medium bodied, slightly prickly carbonation, semi drying close. Average fayre … offers little … middle of the road ESB.

Cask at Ogilvy, Woking. I suppose no aroma is better than smelling like shut, so that at least is a positive. Dark amber. Health thick white head. Medium bitter with a sour edge to it. Nothing too distinct about it. Quite odd really. Light bodied. Carbonation. Drank a pint but didn’t enjoy it -it wasn’t horrible but just didn't appreciate the taste.
