Bottle from Crosstown Liquor, Vancouver
Hazy copper-amber color with small creamy head. Strong smell of grains, wet malt, paper. Well carbonated, smooth mouthfeel; the malt flavor is a bit caramelly and biscuity; correct bitterness. Tea.
Tired feeling.

Golden-amber, thin head. Aroma is vague, bit crackery. More in the palate - crackery, earthy, foresty hops, a bit like bottled Bass or a 1990s bitter...not up to speed on what English pale is in England these days.

650 ml bottle. Pours amber with light head. Aromas of orange jelly, light pine, and grass. Flavors of bitter resin, light pine, and toasted malts. Somewhat harsh but pleasant nonetheless.

On tap at City Beer in February 2014. (my first one from this Brewery) Clear amber with a small head. Fresh and easy to drink, with hops, fruit and malt. Also with light notes of "earth" and cookies. An ok one.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a clear golden orange with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out English hops, some metallic notes, and some biscuity notes. Flavour brings out dry biscuity notes, metallic notes, and light English hops. Pretty bland, but balanced enough. Not terribly exciting stuff, but it's okay.

Bomber. Pours amber with a foamy white head. Floral aroma with underlying light roast malt. Med body. Flavor is floral with some grass and they underlying light roast malt. Very tasty. Not very bitter, but it’s good stuff.
