Dry with a light natural acidity, the dominant character is the muted esters of the French saison yeast as well as the work it has done on transforming and shaping the fruit character provided by Motueka and Pacific Jade dry hops. Wonderful to pair with some rich foods, having the ability to cut through and hold its own on the palate.

Bottle shared at BOD. It pours hazy yellow with a small white head. The aroma is fresh, zingy, green banana, cereal, nougat, kiwi fruit, bready and doughy. The taste is crisp, dry, tart, sour citrus fruits, lemon peel, peppery spice, grapefruit and kiwi with a dry finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Not bad, has a good tart elements.

33cl bottle from the Beer52 April box. A pale straw coloured pour with a billowing white head and heavy carbonation; spicy, Belgian yeast aroma; berry fruit taste, but with the yeast to the fore; and a pleasant peppery bitterness leading to a dry finish with lingering tart fruit.
