Reviewed from notes.
The appearance had an amber/red colored body with a one finger white foamy head that leaves a great amount of speckled spider web lacing.
The smell had a decent amount of caramel malts, lightly hopped.
The taste was mainly sweet through the malts, dry bitter aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, it sat really light, was pretty sessionable, and the carbonation is pretty smooth and decent for the style.
Overall, this was not a bad American Red ale, but it wasn’t exactly anything to really seek out again either.

Amber with a small off white head - hints of caramel malt in the aroma - Bdoy is of caramel malt with a small hint of hops - Short thin finish - Something is not quite there and it is not interesting at all

12 oz bottle from a Sampler Pack from Safeway in Davis, CA. Pours light amber with a 3 finger foamy beige head. Aroma is floral. With a little caramel. Med body. Flavor is floral hop followed by mild roast malt. Finishing much more hoppy than many ambers. Not too bad.

12 oz bottle from a Sampler Pack from Safeway Salinas. Nose is grassy hops, caramel, and some biscuity malt. Clear copper with a big, heavy lacing buscuit colored head. Flavor is moderately bitter, caramel, and a bit of pepperiness.

Bottle. Looks fine - clear amber with a medium off-white head that dissipates with nice lacing. Check. Aroma is caramel, metal, Mississippi river seaweed. Check. Flavor is like a pale lager plus the above. Lightly sweet, lightly bitter. I now have a mouth full of pennies and river mud. Medium body.

Stolen from my dear room mate: Pours a light amber with a small head. Aroma is light caramel malts and not much more. Taste is slightly sweet, but mostly just kind of bland. Is this drinkable? For sure. Is it interesting? No, no it is not. Is it cheap? Yes, yes it is.
