Can. Heavily soaked, boozy, roasted malts, dark chocolate, some coffee and vanilla. Coconut. Lots of tannins. Nice, but too much going on. 646413 251129

Panda at home, thanks to Kenneth, 21/04/24. Black with a khaki head that veers edgewards. Nose is dark malts, charr, ashen notes, light spice, chocolate melt, vanilla, molasses. Taste comprises chocolate, spice, light bourbon, trace, salted caramel notes, herb, mellow roast. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced kiss of alcohol. Okay sipper if a little disjointed.

Can. Opaque dark brown black beer, small tan head. Smooth and slightly viscous palate, decent fine minerally carbonation coming through on the back end. Ice cream van chocolate syrup dark malts. Barrelling is pretty light. A little fruity dark chocolate malts. Airy finish shows a little esters. Rich and tasty but overall I found this pretty meh!

Can 330ml (Kihoskh)
Opaque colour, small beige head. Chocolate, peanuts, cocoa in the nose. Full-bodied. Dark chocolate, cocoa, sweetness, peanuts,... some oak/wood. Not much whiskey.
A bit sweet, a touch roasty, dark chocolate, toastes malts, caramel. Not bad.

0,33l can from Pien Olutthusiast advent calendar, #13. Bbe 17.10.2025. Very dark brown, almost black beet with minimum head. Aroma has cocoa and chocolate, but with too artificial twist. Flavor has some booze, maybe some barrel too, but body is way too thin to carry this madness through.

On tap at BrewDog Bristol Harbourside, pours jet black with a small brown head. Aroma is egregious, with artificial boozy perfumey nastiness of some sort that I won't even bother to explain any more than that. Flavour is just awful, with harsh barrel, perfumey notes galore, artificial caramel, and tons of sugars. An absolute mess. I honestly have no idea how this brewery can have a market for this nonsense.

(Draught at BrewDog Camden, London, 18 May 2023) Black colour with brief, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of chocolate, coffee, vanilla, oak wood, caramel and a touch of dark rum. Malty, roasted taste with chocolate, salty caramel, milky coffee, oak wood, rum and a gentle coffee bitterness. Full body, quite sweet. Rich, tasty and warming. Very nice.
