Cask at Pig's Ear. Near clear pale gold beer, good bubbly white head. Light palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Thin malts, a clean grainy sweetness. Light grassy hops, whisper of citrus. Light and semi dry finish. Okay. Clean and in good nick, just uninspiring.

Cask at the Southampton Arms, London on 4th October 2024. Clear gold with shallow off-white foam and full lacing. Rich and intense hoppiness in aroma. Nuttiness, savoury notes, citrus and grasses in-mouth, and a finish of fresh grassy hops and buttery maltiness. Light ti medium body and an engaging mouthfeel. Superb!

From cask at the Lock & Barrel, Bromley, after finishing leg 9A of the Green Chain Walk 06.11.22. Clear golden. Some white head. Aroma and taste of grapefruit, grass, bitter grass, bark and sap. Harsh bitterness in aftertaste.

Cask at the Dog and Bell, Deptford. Gold pour with a white head. Nose of apricot, baked apple, orange peel. Flavours of pink grapefruit, lots more orange peel and baked apple. Sweet, fruity finish. Nice.
