440ml can as part of a delivery from the brewery and drunk at home. 18 days since my last rate, wow that must be a record! it pours fairly light gold, with a loose and quickly dissipating white head. Malt prominent in the aroma alongside some jammy citrus fruits, canned pineapple and gooseberry fool. Tastes a little bit less exciting but still very good, biscuity malt with some citrus notes, a little vegetal. It’s pretty watery but the heavy carbonation lifts it up. A slightly generous 7.1.

Cask at cbc, Covent Garden on 8th July 2023. Sold yellow with shallow off-white foam and scant lacing . Tropical fruits aroma. Sweet overripe fruits in-mouth with citrus juices. Tangy and sweet fruits dominate the finish. Smooth mouthfeel and a full body.

Cask at Nags Head, Reading. Pours hazed yellow gold with white foam. A decent expression of Nelson on cask. Soft with lime, gooseberry, white grape notes. Medium body with soft carbonation.
