Day 11 of the Fullers advent calendar. A lively pour and looks great in the glass. You can definitely taste the lager yeast, but there are some gentle hops lurking in the background. A very pleasant beer.

Can from the Fullers calendar. It pours clear yellow - blonde with a medium fluffy white head. The aroma is soft, fresh, crunchy green fruits, white grape, gooseberry, melon, slightly pefumed, clean crisp malts, kiwi and and twist of lemon - lime. The taste is crisp, dry, snappy, bitter - sweet, clean malt base, cracker, splash of tonic water, biscuit, pithy lemon tins, green fruits, kiwi, melon, white grape, gooseberry, straw and peppery spice with drying, pithy finale. Light to average body and moderate carbonation. Quite chuggable stuff.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from the Waitrose on Marylebone High Street. Pours clear, pale yellow with a fluffy, white head. Light sweet flavour with notes of lemon peel, white grape, pale biscuits, subtle bitter rind and straw. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Easygoing finish, more rind, a hint of diesel. Drinks fine enough.
