Cask at the Robin, Crouch Hill on 23rd January 2024. Deep brown with pale tan foam and full lacing. Pungent aroma. Rich and intense hazelnut maltiness in-mouth, echoed in the finish. Light body and a smooth mouthfeel.

17/6/2022. Cask at the 30th East Anglian Beer & Cider Festival, Bury St Edmunds. Pours clear dark amber with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of stale chestnut, dried fruit, malt, biscuit, nut and cardboard. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness and body. Slightly oily and watery, soft to flat carbonation. Looked good, but wasn’t really.

Pours a lightly hazed coppery brown colour with a small frothy beige head. The aroma is malty, caramel and hoppy. A moderately sweet and bitter taste, sweet malts, caramel flavours, nutty notes with a leafy hop bitterness.
