Wild Card's best bitter, made with pale, wheat, chewy crystal and a smidgen of chocolate malt. Heavily hopped on the hot side with magnum and centennial for a beer that is refreshingly bitter, smooth and easy drinking.

Cask at the Robin, Crouch Hill on 23rd January 2024. Deep brown with pale tan foam and full lacing. Pungent aroma. Rich and intense hazelnut maltiness in-mouth, echoed in the finish. Light body and a smooth mouthfeel.

17/6/2022. Cask at the 30th East Anglian Beer & Cider Festival, Bury St Edmunds. Pours clear dark amber with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of stale chestnut, dried fruit, malt, biscuit, nut and cardboard. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness and body. Slightly oily and watery, soft to flat carbonation. Looked good, but wasn’t really.
