Cask @ Victorian Craft Beer Cafe, Halifax. One of their Back In Black Beer Festival beers. Dark clear reddish-amber with a creamy-frothy head. Dark malty aroma and taste, certainly mild enough tasting for its style.

Cask at Hops d’Amour, Coventry on 26th October 2023. Deep ruby/sepia with loose off-white foam and descending lace. Sweet malty aroma. Spiced maltiness in-mouth with woodsmoke. Finish of maltiness and cherry fruits. Medium bodied with an engaging texture.
