On tap at The Made Inn Ashford . dark dark brown beer thin beige head. chocolate malty. dry finish. a dry chocolate porter. not as full in the mouth as some. a little molasses or spiciness on the aroma. some juiciness. ok .

Half-pint, keg at Piccadilly Tap, shared with Finn. A beige head, upper part lacing, coal black body. Slightly roasted malts on the nose, caramel hints. Blended taste profile of nuts, caramel and sweet chocolate. Fine roasted finish. Fine bodied. Pretty good. (Manchester 22.01.2020).

Keg @ Candid, Stafford. Dark appearance, creamy pale tan top. Good coffee and roast on the nose. Taste is heavy on the coffee, lots of roast, chocolate layers, nutty shades.. solid.

Cask @ Port street beer house, Manchester. Pours Black with a creamy head. Good roast, chocolate, mild coffee. Overly smooth. Short roasted finish.

On cask at the Stockbridge Tap. Appearance - opaque black with an olive sheen. Nice creamy brown head. Nose - smoke and molasses. Taste - more molasses, some blackberry fruit and a savoury smoke thing on the finish. Palate - medium bodied and creamy. Dry but balanced finish. Overall - good.

ABV: 5.7%. Clear dark brown - black colour with a average to large, frothy - fizzy and open, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, dark malt, chocolate, dark chocolate, sweet malt. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet with a long duration, dark chocolate, dark malt, chocolate, roasted. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20180125]

Keg at the Gas Lamp, Manchester. Black pour with a beige head. Nose of dark chocolate, coffee, chocolate raisin. Flavours of sweet malt, coffee, chocolate, light smoke. Nice.
