Cask at CPK, Pimlico on 11th March 2022. Pale straw-coloured with shallow white foam and full lacing. Richly fruity aroma. Spiced peel and sweet berries in-mouth with buttery dairy notes on malts. Fruity finish with fresh dairy and bitter spices. Full bodied with a velvet smooth mouthfeel.

Cask, pint at Prince of Wales. It pours crystal clear golden - blonde with a lovely study dense foamy white head. The aroma is fairly bright and zingy, lemon peel, grapefruit, floral, touch green, juicy gooseberry, touch of white grape, biscuit and bready malt. The taste is firmly dry, a hit of bitterness which creeps right up on you, green hops, pine, peppery spice, floral, rather clean, pithy, waxy citrus peel, rindy, lemon, grapefruit, pomelo, hint of biscuit in the backdrop and light orchard fruits with a drying, bitter finish of long duration. Average body and fine, foamy carbonation. Lovely condition as per usual here. Comes across quite subdued and subtle to begin with but opens up with time and warmth. Drinks well, but perhaps not their most exciting number.
