Bottle, 7.2%. Caramelly aroma. Clear dark brown colour. Small stable tan head. The flavour starts off roasted and does not really turn malty or sweet as I expected. Dry and roasted. Not a Doppelbock in my book.

Bottle. Pours nearly clear copper brown with airy off-white head. Faint aroma of caramel, with notes of malt and touvhes of hops. Bitter, hoppy flavour with dusty and grainy, offlike notes. Touches of caramel. Estery and bitter aftertaste. Infected and definitely jot a Doppelbock. Poor.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear, warm amber with an off-wjite head. Malty, caramellish nose, a slight spiciness but apparently no spices are added. Rich, malty body, again this strange spicy edge, that I find not pleasant at all. There’s a typical Thisted metallic tang to it. Not a good Bock at all. 021116

50 cl bottle. Clear, dark amber colour with a medium sized off-white head. Sweet, spiced aroma with caramel malts, herbal hops, lightly toasted notes, liquorice and grassy impressions. Taste is sweet. Medium to full body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes slightly dry with caramel malts, liquorice and heavily spiced notes. Pairs well with rich dishes and desserts. Not for drinking on it’s own.
