A mixed fermentation sour wheat beer brewed with salt and coriander. Soured in tank with a blend of three different lactic acid bacteria (lactobacillus), this Gose was fermented with both our clean, house saison yeast and a house Brettanomyces culture. Its bright, sour, salt and funk flavours are sharp and fresh, and will continue to evolve over time.

Bottle split at CBC Islington, One I'd aged for a year (or forgotten about!), 17/10/18. Hazed light golden orange with a decent off white covering. Nose is grassy, light pissy lemon, hint of funk, lemon rind, faint salt. Taste comprises lemon sherbets, sharp citric peel, light funk, straw, damp hay, light salt licks. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent.

(Draught at Café Derat, Utrecht, 26 July 2017) Pale yellow colour with brief, white head. Fruity, sourish nose with notes of lemon, salt and some white bread. Fruity, tart taste with lemon, salt, grass and a dry finish with a fresh tartness and low bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. Interesting, tasty and refreshing. Quite nice.
