A golden IPA. Well hopped with a blend of US and European hops, without being overpowering – a solid session ale.

440ml can, online from Cloudwater. Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma: sweet & herbal. It looks and smells like a ubiquitous dull British golden beer. Taste: moderate sweet & light to moderate bitter, bright, grassy. Medium body with soft carbonation. Very traditional, but decent flavours

Can at THT online. Clear golden with white head. Massive fresh pale malt, soft herbal hops, light bready, lemon rind. Medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied. Classic UK style, nice malts and body but not too hoppy. Decent.

Cask, at Manchester Beer & Cider Festival, Coast To Coast Bar. Shared with Finn. Clear warm golden body, white covering head, dotted spots on the glass. Leafy hops on the nose. Flavoured with grass, leafy hops and bread-like malts. Rounded ending with fair bitterness. Decent. (Third day of the festival, 24.01.2020).

[Gravity Cask at the Royal Standard, Wooburn Common.] A bright, straw coloured pour with a sudsy looking white head; sweet herbal aroma; sharper grassy taste; and a bittersweet finish. Nice to have a non citrusy pale ale for a change.

29th Oct 2016: cask half-pint in the Station Hotel, Oakengates. Clean golden body, white topping. Hop centric with a slight citrus leaning: not unlike so many golden citrus flavoured brews dominating the UK beer scene at the moment.
