Can from Chez Ben. Lightly hazxed gold with a frothy off white head that leaves some spotty lace. Nose is light citrus, flowers, and grass with coriander and yeast. Light fruity sweetness with a medium- grassy bitterness and a lightly spiced finish. Mouth is medium- with average carbonation. 7+/4-/7/3+/14

473mL can, pours a hazy golden blonde with a medium white head. Nose brings out estery Belgian yeast, floral hops, and a touch of plasticy notes that seem minor. Flavour doesn't really reveal the plasticy notes, but brings out crisp floral hops, a touch of pine, light estery notes, and crisp biscuity malt. Nice hybrid style, but I wish the hops would be more assertive and the estery, yeasty notes dialled down a bit.

Can, Cask & Barrel. Orangey and hazy. Thin head. Aroma has a little bit of that phenolic plasticy note from the Belgian yeast. On the palate, low hop expression, and just a moderate bitterness. This is more about the yeast - a strong, vaguely hoppy witbier. With a fair bit of phenolic stuff - even a hint of smokiness in there for some reason. I'd prefer it to be drier, that's for sure, and with a bit more hop. More white than IPA but those witbier elements aren't particularly strong.

O: 8.05 V: 4.143 G: 7.686 B: 4.267 O: 16.571 T: 40.717
