A high light tan head with spotty lacing. Nose is well roasted dark coffee, some chocolate and a hint of fruity hops. Dense and surprisingly slick for a 4.5%er. The roasted coffee and malt continues into the taste profile. Dark chocolate, chocolate milk, citrus hops, and caramel round out a really well crafted stout.

Can from the lcbo. Black pour, with a beige head. Wry roasty, some cocoa powder, hints of licorice and coffee. Silky mouth feel, soft carb. Medium bitterness, lots of satisfying roast, and subtly sweet coffee and cocoa note. Easy drinking, nice stuff.

Black, massive fluffy brown head. Nose of light roast/brown sugar. Prickly carbo is too hi for style. Light dry roast/sweetness

Intense roasting, heavily roasted hazelnuts, coffee, these are the main notes of this well-roasted olfactory. A sparkling mocha-colored foam that persists little crowns a black liquid with ruby reflections and rather opaque Taste shows a coffee domination with toasted hazelnuts in support. Earthy hops are also perceived giving a very dry finish and supporting the roasting bitterness that stretches at the end of the mouth. The body is medium with a slightly creamy texture. Carbonation, however, is a tad too strong which interferes in its softness. A very traditional stout that does the job. Anfangs heftiges Gushing.

Can at Black Christmas 2018
Black colour. Roasty flavour, lean mouthfeel, dry body. Linear and plain, very good Stout.

473mL can, pours a deep dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out oats, light roast, and a touch of coffee. Flavour is along the same lines, with coffee, oats, and toasted malt. Smooth and dry. Good stuff.
