Can from the lcbo.. Copper pour, small white head. Pale malts, biscuity, lightly grassy. Light bitterness, solid cereals, light hopping. Decent, but I'd classify this as a English pale ale.

This English ale poured a deep amber colour with a soapy/creamy off white head. Nice lacing. Scents include cream, light spruce and some very fine skunk? First swig was pretty thin for an English ale. Flavours of caramel, grass and a little spruce. Finish is medium bitter with hop flavour lingering.

Pours a slight hazed amber colour from the can, with some caramel highlights. Off-white head, average stay and a little lace. Big spicy darker cereal malt aromas like rye with some caramel base. Hints of molasses. The taste has this mild spiciness with the sweetness of the caramel malt. Works well and easy to drink. Not a bad ale, but nothing too out-of-this-world.

Can from the LCBO. Clear copper under a small quick fading off white head. Nose is toffee, touch of butter, moderate grassy hops. Light toffee sweetness and a light+ grassy bitterness. Mouth is a tad thin and slick with soft carbonation. Labelled as an English ale which is much closer than a bitter as categorized here. Not great. 6-/3/5-/3-/10+
