Like the universe itself this brew is dark and tranquil in appearance, but once you delve in, its chaotic intensity really hits. It’s a trip across the palate; sour, hoppy & malty bringing balance to The Force.

Not bad! (but then I was afraid it would suck!) Lightly tart, roast and smoke notes. Light citrus hops. Definitely weird with so many things going on at once, but they made it work.

Bottle. Black pour. Aroma has coffee, peach, mild tart and citrus. Taste of tart citrus, chocolate, coffee, peach, acidic sourness and some licorice. Quite a sour finish. Not really a subtle beer, but it's nice.

Bottle bought online from Beautiful Beers, BSE. Pours Black with a frothy tan head. Aroma is light sour, light roast, citrus, pine, grapefruit, hint of chocolate & coffee. Taste is light sour, light roast, dark berries, grapefruit, pine. Medium bodied, moderate carb, dry-ish piney finish. A well balanced hybrid of BIPA & sour. Good one

330ml bottle. Pours black with a large beige head, good lacing. Aroma is tart dark berries presumably blackberry, also citrus, grapefruit, zesty. Tart berry flavours, grapefruit, pine, some dark/roast malts in the background, mildly sour. Medium body, well carbonated. Doesn't really excel at being either a sour or a black IPA but somehow I feel the flavours actually work quite well together, I enjoyed it.
