Bottle picked up at Tuckers Maltings, Newton Abbot,, Devon 14-11-06 had the same evening. This started off great but finshed a touch disappointingly some spices, hops abound, could have been a lot lot better.

(Bottle 50 cl) Beautiful, clear amber golden with a creamy, white head. Unusual banana aroma - almost Hefe style. Medium body, vaguely caramelish and then nothing much more. Light, bitter finish. 110606

Bottle. Slightly hoppy aroma with a hint of bonbons. Dark amber colour, almost white head. Nutty flavour, OK bitterness. Nice, slightly creamy mouthfeel.

An amber beer with a small white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of caramel - slightly burnt. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel as well as hints of burnt caramel. The end is dry.

Pours a copper color with a white head. You can kinda smell hops in there but there is not much there. Flavor is about the same, i can get the hops but not much else, kinda watery. Excellent lacing to the beer. Neither good or bad really.

Bottled. Very light in color and taste, at least for the style. Our homebrew club mention Goldings and Fuggles in the hop nose. This also has more caramel taste than expected. A good session beer with a clean finish.
