The nose is sweet malt and bubble gum. A bubbly off-white head over an unfiltered looking gold body. The taste experience starts with a healthy splash of grapefruit. Sweet malt underpins the initial fruity blast - not really bitter but fruity nonetheless. There are touches of lemon and mango. The fruit dissipates into something less pleasant pretty quickly and the bubble gum from the nose lingers. Not buying this one again.

Great orange pour, with a very large white head. Deep citrus Aroma, with some light catty notes. Nice citrus oil, fresh cut grass, light herbs. Good mouth feel, carb is a tad high. Finish has an incredibly strong grapefruit pith bitterness. Long and dry, pithy and citrus oil. Nice stuff.

Pre #Osheaga...no score as there was a layer of sediment so not sure about freshness. I do get some grapefruit but it's muddled.

Bottle: Poured a clear dirty amber color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of fresh grapefruit notes with light citrusy notes is pleasant enough. Taste is also a mix of fresh grapefruit notes with some citrusy notes and light dry caramel malt notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Not bad but lacking some balance.

Bottle from the LCBO. Hazy orange amber under a fluffy long lived off white head. Big aroma of grapefruit and citrus with smaller doses of resin and bread. Enough light sweet toffee to keep the big citrus and pine bitterness from getting too out of control with grapefruit remaining in the fore. Mouth is average with slightly soft carbonation and a long bitter finish. Quite tasty. 8/4-/8+/3+/15+

Their site says 6.1%, but the label is now at 5.7% ABV. Pours a hazy golden-amber colour with a darker bubbly head that dissipates quickly, leaving some patchy lace. Fruity nose with lots of citrus (yes, the grapefruit) but also some orange notes. The taste is also citrusy, but the grapefruit is more apparent, and gives this a real dry-bitter finish. A nice fruity IPA. A beautiful second experience from this brewery. Keep ’em coming at the LCBO.
