Great nutty, roasty nose, with some good cereals and light grassy hops. Body is spot on and the carb is petfect. The finsh is slightly sweet, notes of brown sufar and more slighty roasted malts and some great nutty flavours. The oats add a nice body to the mouth feel, this is a great session brown ale.

This Brown ale poured a deep Amber colour with a nice, creamy, tan coloured head. Scents include caramel, molasses, a little cocoa and oats. First swig was smooth a light/medium mouthfeel. Flavours of caramel and light coffee. Finish is burnt with coffee flavours lingering...

Pours a deep copper-amber colour with a creamy-frothy beige head, good retention and thick foam-cream lace. The oat is a nice touch in the aromas covering the sweet caramel malts. It also adds creaminess in the mouthfeel. Roasted malt taste with some nuttiness, caramel and grassy hops in the finish. Hints of rustiness from this. Goes down very-well and this is one that is good for this size of bottle, to enjoy anytime. Quite nice to add the oat to a brown ale.

Bottle from the LCBO. Clear deep reddish brown with a small tan head. Nose is caramel and toast with some coffee. medium sweet toffee , nuts and light cocoa with a bit of dark fruit and light hop bitterness. Medium creamy mouth with slightly soft carbonation. Nice and simple.
