Hazy yellow pour, with a huge frothy white head. A great aroma of grass, lemons, cereals, orange peel, and tropical fruit. Lively carb, liverly mouth feel. Finish is quite bitter, loads of pungent hops, and some pine, citrus hop notes. A great belgian,

Part of "The Best of Beau’s 2013" 4-pack at the LCBO. Pours a slight hazy golden-amber colour with a nice warm cap that is kind of creamy, with very good retention and lots of lace. Smells like a pilsner at first. All because this one has a sharp grassy hop aroma with citrus, light honey sweetness and some adjuncts found in some of the cheap swills that have high alcohol. Not smelling, nor tasting much Belgian Ale yeast. Bitter taste, but not really dry. The malty grain is quite different. Still remind me of an Impy Pils. Definitely better than the Doc’s Feet Dubbel, found in the same pack (and part of the Pro-Am series), but still not something I would drink more.

Tap: Poured a dirty beige color ale with a large frothy head with good retention. Aroma consists of dry hoppy notes with some fruity ester and light grassy notes. Taste is also dominated by grassy notes with some fruity ester and some dry hoppy notes. Malt presence can also be felt but doesn’t play a huge role. Body is full with good carbonation. Solid take on the Belgian style IPA with great complexity but retaining some drinkability.

Bomber from the brewery. Pours a hazy orange with generous beige head that leaves some lace. Nose is slight citrus and a bunch of peach and yeast with some pine in the finish. A little bit of clove and pepper appears, which I usually hate, but this is not overpowering. Medium stick body. I like the hops at the back end of this Belgian.

Not a bad offering from Beaus. Pours orange with carpet lacing and great head. Some floral aromas with some malt. Finish is bitter with some astringency. Lively carbonation. Ok balance, a little on the watery side though. Tap at Barhop.

A hazed amber gold ale with a thick creamy light mocha head. In aroma, nice fruity caramel malt with coriander and nice herbaceous hops, piney and orangey. In mouth, a nice smooth Belgian IPA with fruity malt, piney floral hops, orange pulp, very nice.
