Almost clear gold beer, a few pale cream colour bubbles. Light palate, semi dry, modest carbonation. Smooth malts, mildly sweet. Mellow but rich coffee. Trace of ripe citrus. More coffee on the dry finish. Some floralness as well. An odd duck but fairly drinkable.

330ml bottle from Beer Revolution, Hay on Wye. Pours a muddy amber, no lasting head. Coffee / ryebread aroma. Taste is coffee dregs, grainy malts, no real wheat characteristics, nothing really wrong with this, in that it has that vegetal coffee quality that other such breweries find appealing at the minute. But I personally don’t get it.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, faint amber colour with small, frothy, quickly fading, off-white head. Wheaty aroma with banana notes, hints of apple, a cautious touch of coffee. Taste is slightly sweet wheaty, fruity, hints of apple, red berries, a touch of banana; the coffee comes in very slowly, gains weight and dominates the finish eventually. Nice.

Bottled 330ml (AbM)
Hazy dark amber color, vanishing head. Nose has coffee, some herbal notes, even cardboardish. Light-bodied. Flavor is very similar: coffee, wheat, cardboad feeling. Very odd, no reason to drink this again.

Bottle at home, 07/05/17. Hazed orange to copper with a decent off white head that soon dissipates to edgeing. Nose is coffee grinds, light peppery spice, grains, mellow fruit notes. Taste comprises coffee grinds, light vanilla, mellow fruits, orange peel, straw, light bread. Medum bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok for what it is .... the coffee presence is of a god quality but not something I’d revisit.

On tap at Euston Tap West. Murky deep golden colour, thin white head. Aroma of coffee and wheat, cigarette, ash, nutty dark chocolate. Flavour of green coffee beans, coffee grounds, wheat, cigarette buds, coffee and wheat banana finish. Light bodied. Dirty. Not for me.

Keg at the bottle shop druid Street. A hazed dull orange amber coloured pour with no head. Aroma is weird sawdust, cracked pepper veg, pepper, coffee bean,. Flavour is composed of dry wheat, rustic grains, hint of smoke, veg, pepper and coffee bean. Raw coffee bean. Weird one. Palate is light and crisp, highish carbonation, drying finish. Lingering woody coffee, andd wheat.,
