Short pour at the downtown taproom while the wife gets ready for the very adjacent cousin's wedding. Dark brown on back, matte, oily, somewhat still. Coco roasty, sliced brown bread, mellow coffee nose. This is the highlight. Thin, milky, heavy char, slight saline, soot. Low carb, dusty texture, ash. Whatever. Not impressed.

Dark black pour and minimal head on this fella. Nos chocolate and char. Tastes of chocolate, oats, coffee, char smoke, plum. Medium light body. Love straight up stouts no adjuncts or aging.

4 oz snifter. Nose is chocolate, roast, golden raisins, and a hint of smokiness. Black with a medium tan head. Flavor is mixed chocolate and coffee, lightly sweet a hints of bitterness and char.

Thanks Brian aroma is coffee, dark chocolate, roasted malt. Taste is chocolate, roasted coffee notes. Mouthfeel is good, more akin to an imperial porter. Still good flavors.

4 oz. draft. Aromas roasted green chocolate like, coffee like. Flavor of a bold classic American stout. Strong chocolate, strong coffee nuance, mild roasted green finish. Good strong body and mouth feel.

Can from my father: pours black with a tan head. Aroma is weak coffee and chocolate. Taste is generally sweet, low bitterness. Easy to drink.
