0,5 l bottle from Netto, Blåvand. Red label. BB 09.10.2026. Cloudy dark red brown in the glass, more than one finger intensive foamy pale beige head. Looks good. Malty aroma with christmas spices. Tastes also malty with christmas spices. Increasing roastest malt with spices, sweet chough drops and dry bitterness in the second part. Okay.

clear brown to red brown, light brown head. The color and clearness of the beer is beautiful, must be adjusted artificially, nobody can brew a beer this good looking without cheating ;-). Well done. Aroma has caramel, slightly roasted malts, bitter hops like a vienna, toasted buttered bready note, i think too much butter. Reminds me of brown ale poured from a tap in an english pub where the keg is about finished. Could be the christmas spices tricking me. Anyway. not so impressed. Flavor is roasted malts, faint, very faint citrussy note, faint not-bitter nutty notes, only faint sensation of cristmas spices, esp. towards the end that seems to be almost as much spicy bitter as hoppy bitter. low hoppy bitterness. I do sense very faintly some seriously roasted malts, there's just not at all a lot of them. That's fine. it's just a touch to make the beer more interesting. In any case, a bit disappointed, i highly regard thisted and this one seems to be very mainstream and not very daring and even a bit boring. The aroma was sort of off, the flavor was like so many other similar beers without having an edge or a touch.

Bottle. Pours nearly clear copper brown with a big and stable beige head. Clear aroma of malt and caramel, with notes of yeast and hints of cinnamon. Roasty and nutty onset, replaced by sweetish notes of yeast and caramel malt, ending on bitter, hoppy notes. Bitterish and estery afteraste. Okay although a little watery.
