Bottle from the Royal Oak, Borough. It pours crystal clear copper with a handsome fluffy white head. The aroma is bright, zingy, tangy, musty, funky, barnyard, hay, gooseberry, white grape, lemon - lime and pie crust. The taste is crispy, firmly dry, snappy, punchy bitterness which lingers, peppery spice, pithy, zesty, lemon, lime, waxy peel, floral and fragrant with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Bright, moreish and subtle depth. Moreish.

Bittle at the Royal oak. A clear golden yellow coloured pour with a lasting loose white head. Aroma is semi sweet, earthy grains, playful yeast, esters hedgerow hop, green berries. Flavour is composed of earthy straw grass, firm grassy bitterness,.. Palate is semi sweet, rounded, fine carbonation. Really interesting.

Bottle at the Royal Oak with Ferg and Scopey. Solid. Nice pale bread, biscuity malts, bitter straw, light grass. Highly drinkable.

Bottle from brewery shop. I had to have this when I saw it advertised. The best classic ale brewery in Sussex, the best brewery in East Sussex and the best non-lambic brewery in Brussels working together - awesome collaboration. Let's see. Floral, elderflower aroma. Some pub lager notes. Flat gold look. Taste is a bit hard to describe and odd final profile that is very bitter in a cloying way. Not really sure how to describe this but disappointing it must be said...

Cask handpull at Nelson Arms Tonbridge. Clear amber colour lasting white head. Odd flavour. A bit of saison mixed with a real ale bitter. Good condition. Not sure it entirely works. I like the base bitter not sure about the wild element to it. Interesting though Harvey's yeast aroma

Cask at The John Harvey Tavern, Lewes, East Sussex. A straw coloured pour with a decent white head on top. Fruity, floral, yeasty, tea taste and aroma. It's definitely a Harveys beer with a Belgian feel about it. A lovely collaborative brew. Would really like to have this again but it's probably a one off. Good stuff.
