Sour roasted malty aroma, dried dark fruits
Flavor is quite sour with roasted malts, dried dark fruits, fruit kernelæder bitterness, sour beer notes, quite balanced. End is more fruity than bitter. Well balanced sour imp porter. Plenty of woody bodega like flavor notes.

Bottle from the brewery online shop. Pours black with a thin tan head. Aromas of liquorice, prunes, oak, funk, dusty dark cocoa powder. Taste adds leathery notes and burnt sugar. Restrained funk. Nice.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up From the brewery taproom. Pours black-brown with a tight, frothy beige head. Medium sweet flavour with decent tang, some brine, ash, cocoa, raisins, berries, burnt rubber, scorched earth. Medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Tangy-ashy finish, some bitter dark chocolate, toothy roast, earth, tobacco. Novel stuff, nice depth.

7fiddy bottle from Westhill Service Station. It pours darkest brown to black with a small khaki head. The aroma is zingy, tangy, jammy berry, raspberry, bramble, blueberry, cherry, Dandelion & Burdock, vinous, granny smith apple, tangfastics and some roasted malt. The taste is dry roasted malt, slightly charred oak, espresso coffee, cacao nibs/dark chocolate, bitter - sweet, some umami, liquorice, earthy, musty, vinous, damp oak, funk, sour candy, tangfastics, tangy berries, raspberry, bramble, cranberry, redcurrant, crunchy red wine, light alcohol presence and hint of acidity with a charry, dark roast finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Great depth of flavour and balance. Well executed and rather unique.
