Bottleshare at Leighton’s gaff. Thank to Leighton. Opaque dark brown beer, good tan head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Tangy dark malts, tangy dark chocolate. Thin fruity finish. Okay, wants more hop presence.

Bottle at LKS, thanks to the host. Cheers. It pours near jet black with a medium light tan head. The aroma is quite rich, roasted malt, tar, deep roast, coffee, some fruity notes, citrus and plum. The taste is rich roasted malt, charred wood, toasty, burnt pine, orange peel, marmalade, toasted grass and earthy. Finish is rich roast and dryness. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Pretty robust. Decent.
