This mammoth of a Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout finished on a ton of hazelnut and cacao nibs giving you memories of that rich, chocolate, gold foil wrapped treat... except our version is in a silver can. Simply put, this beer is dessert in a glass, and is one of our favourite stout flavours that we've done to date. Expect silky smooth milk chocolate, toasted hazelnuts and a touch of vanilla to round things out.

Can. Dark brown. Not much head. There's a lot of toasted hazelnut on the nose, rich chocolate, a fair bit of alcohol, On the palate, definitely the alcohol up front, following by rich sweet chocolate. Big body. Really nice. The toasted hazelnut character is still prominent, though less so than on the aroma. It's not actually all that complex, but it really hits notes that I enjoy. I am loving this, and I knew i would. Big thanks to Sergiy for the can, but man, I need to find another one. Such a guilty pleasure.

Can, pours jet black with a small tan head. Aroma is loaded with roasted hazelnuts, some dark cocoa, bourbon, charred oak, and vanilla. Flavour is rich, with a remarkably rich roasted hazelnut character upfront, accentuated by dark cocoa, moderate bourbon, and a little vanilla. Not as sweet as some of the other BA impies from this year's anniversary release. That dry, roasted hazelnut character really makes this shine for me. Lovely stuff.

355 ml can. Pours a very dark brown with short tan head that settles quickly. Aromas of dark chocolate powder, pecan pie filling, dark vanilla, and slick roasted malts. Flavors follow same; more like a chocolate cake liqueur with definite alcohol heat. Sweet chocolate decadence.

Jet black with a cascading brown head that dissipates quickly. Intense chocolate and nutty notes with a ton of boozy bourbon notes. Sweet chocolate, nutty and a syrupy slick and sweet finish. Sweet, sticky and chocolate with lots of booze and heat on the throat. Over the top, but they said it was.

A deep dark stout with a thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet chocolate malt with dark fruits, licorice, molasses, alcohol warmth, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, light nutella, alcohol warmth, loads of nuts, very nice and smooth. On tap at brewery.

This can actually seems quite thicker than the previous one.

No problems opening the can; black colour with medium head. The aroma is just full chocolate. It's sweet but not thick, probably because of the alcohol; chocolate flavour, nuts cream, bourbon, and quite evident alcohol.
Excellent.

Black colour. Aroma of chocolate, bourbon, light nuts. Moderately sweet, with strong alcohol, chocolate flavour, light nutty touch, roasted nuts, more evident in the finish, bourbon, more alcohol. Excellent.
