Crowler from BD Castlegate. It pours clear deep amber with a small bubbly white cap. The aroma is musty, funky, brett, rather fruity, juicy red grape, tangy fruit cocktail, cherry, fizzy cherry cola bottles and fruit pie. The taste is crisp, dry, tart, tangy, nip of acidity, zingy, puckering sourness, backbone of funky barnyard, damp oak, sour fruits, cherry skin, grape skin, fizzy cherry sweets and lemon sherbet action with a drying, zingy finish. Lighter end of medium body and fine carbonation. Maybe a touch too acidic, but lacks a punch for the low abv. Fun stuff.

A dark gold sour ale with a thin lacing white. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with loads of dark fruits, Brett, ground cherry, light lactic and Epsom salts, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with light vanilla, Brett, ground cherry, light lactic notes, very nice. Can, 1 year old.
