500ml at Matt's amenity room. Appearance: brown with a beige head. Aroma: green peppers (people stop aging beer on the coffee beans, just add a coffee), some roasted malts. Taste: coffee, vanilla, some bourbon, quite thin. Overall: well, it's thin, has green peppers, not a good job done in terms of good imperial stout.

Poured from 500mL bottle. Near black with minimal beige head. Chocolate, espresso, touch of vanilla. Quite nice, good flavours, but nothing really blows me away.

Dark brown. Thin head. A bit thin, vanilla is definitely in there, some chocolate and espresso. For me, this hits all the notes, but it hits them in the most basic interpretation of the formula.

500mL bottle, pours a deep dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma brings out toffee, molasses, and espresso. Flavour is full of espresso upfront, with toffee, molasses, and a touch of caramelized brown sugar. Fairly dry, expressing the espresso and molasses on the finish.

A deep dark stout with a thin lacing brown head. In aroma, sweet chocolate malt with light vanilla and hazel nuts, alcohol warmth, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet chocolate malt with amaretto, hazel nuts, alcohol warmth, very nice.

Ordered delivery during the sickie days. Pours as you'd expect for a stout. Feels rich and thick. Low carbonation. Quite sweet toasted malt, chocolate, French roast coffee, a little vanilla. Taste lingers. Really nice.
