Tasting at Ryan's, bottle
The colour is almost black, not thick at the pour, the head is fizzy, and it disappears quickly. Mild aroma of coconut and almonds, some chocolate and alcohol. The body is good, but less strong than the Imperial Stouts we are getting used to; good chocolate flavour, moderate sweetness, coconut, cola, rum.
Good.

Poured from 750mL bottle. Black with very minimal beige head. Mild spruce and cola nose, body is a bit thin, coconut, vanilla, carbonated spritzy like sparkling water. Just okay.

750ml (thx, Marc-Olivier L. for a bottle and Max C. for a delivery!) @ Ryan's. 2021 vintage, 9.8%. Appearance: almost black with a weak beige head. Aroma: bourbon, fruity liquor, marzipan, almonds. Taste: along the same lines, vanilla and coconut. Overall: quite unique and nice.
