Many years ago, when Canadian orchards first flourished, a producer’s reputation, depended as much on his yield, as on his cider’s unique recipe. A man named William held the key. In balancing the perfect measures of acidity, bitterness and pride, his ancestors had created an exceptional recipe. Folks travelled far and wide, to savour William’s heirloom cider. Or so the legend goes. In preserving William’s memory, we offer you this premium organic cider. Produced right here in Canada, we have respectfully adopted some of the purest traditional fermentation and aging methods of our time. William’s copper colour, crystal clear brilliance and fresh taste are characteristic of these and would make William proud.

Can from the lcbo.
Very pale yellow, almost no head. Aroma of tart apples, and light honey, soft carb, good mouth feel. Sweet apple pie finish. Refeeshing. A nice cold drink. Will keep for lawn mowing duty.

A golden cider with aroma of sweet apple pie, light sweet sugar, OK. In mouth, a nice sweet apple jam with light mineral notes, light fruit juice, OK. Can.

Pours a clean light golden colour. Sweet freshly squeezed apples with some hints of wood. Almost oak, as vanilla seems to blend things. The taste is not really sweet, but the apple juices seem quite organic. Very lightly dry. Seems legit.

Poured from 473mL can. Clear pale yellow with foamy white head that dissipates quickly. Tart apple nose with hint of sourness. Very light, almost watery flavour of same nature.

Pours yellow into an English pint. White bubbly head with little retention recedes to hug rim. Sour apple aromas. Soft with sweet flowery apples upfront turning slightly tart in the lasting dry finish.

Can: Poured a pale yellow color cider with spritzy carbonation. Aroma of dusty apple with light tart notes is OK. Taste is a bit stale with lactic some natural apple sweetness. Little tart notes are pleasant. So many good cider producers in QC and this is the best we find to send to the LCBO?
