Had this many times at Flora Hall on tap before this pandemic... hence the danger sauce. Dark brown colour with a warm beige, creamy head, good retention and creamy lacing. Belgium yeast aromas with mild dark fruits and chocolate malts. Hints of bananas. Mouthfeel is fairly refreshing, very lightly dry, but overall on the wet side. More wheat in the taste adding sweetness and banana notes. Nice grassy hops in the finish, but not overloaded. Easy to drink Quadrupel that has less dark fruits and slightly more hops in the end (expected from this brewery).

Can: Poured a dark brown color ale with a large light brown foamy head with OK retention and light lacing. Aroma of deep caramelized malt notes with some cereal notes is pleasant. Taste is also dominated by deep caramelized malt notes with some cereal notes and a dry finish. Body is about average with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol notes. Enjoyable but doesn’t have the candi sugar and dry fruit notes that I usually associated with the style, this is a closer to an imperial brown ale.

A dark brown ale with a thin brown head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with dark fruits, candy sugar, light curacao, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with dark fruits, plums, licorice alcohol warmth, very nice. On tap at brewery.
