Bottle shared, kind courtesy of Marko. Beauty in simplicity, this beer is an outstanding table beer: light, highly drinkable, refreshing and crisp yet layered and complex enough to keep you entertained. Lovely.

Quite pale, hazy, no head. There's a bit of saaz on the nose, pale malt. A touch of saison yeast. The same yeast character carries through on the palate. Medium bitterness, nice hop note. Good balance. The lightness definitely makes it nicely drinkable.

750mL bottle, pours a clear pale blonde with a large white head. Aroma brings out light funk, rustic saison yeast, and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is dry and grainy, with gentle spiciness, dry graininess, and crackery malt. It sort of has a rustic character, which is helped by the assertive carbonation. I don't know if I'd guess this was a saison if I didn't know it was — dry, grainy, and crisp. Good but seems a little off style.

A hazed golden saison with a thick frothy lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light perfumy notes, nice and smooth, nice banana bread, light fruity esters, pleasant. On tap at Roots in Place.
