Can thanks Leighton. It pours clear deep amber with a small white head. The aroma is sweet, dark fruits, rum & cola, dried fruits, bread, candied orange and fruit cake. The taste is smooth, bitter - sweet, piney action, earth, alcohol heat, touch of spice, caramel, citrus peel and brown sugar with a dry, slightly warming finish. Medium body and average carbonation. Works pretty well actually.

Can shared in Watford. Pours lightly hazy golden-brown with a creamy, off-white head. The nose has grainy toast, ripe citrus, some berries, a little wood. Medium sweet flavour with chewy ripe orange, piney bitterness, wholegrain toast, berries. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Lightly resinous to finish, with more toasty-bready malts, ripe citrus, some melon. Tasty stuff.

Can. Hazy deep amber beer, big cream colour head. Palate is airy, mildly dry and has decent fine carbonation. Light malts, pretty caramel and slightly tangy. Thin creamy sweetness and underneath - a bitter toffee streak. Mild pine and ripe fruits. Light and sweetish floral things. Finishes light and if you are looking for the rum you will find a hint of it. Bitter floral linger. Interesting beer.

330ml can. Minimally milky, dark amber colour with average to huge, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, sulphureous head. Citrusy and slightly piney, hoppy aroma, zesty notes of tangerine and orange get roped into a caramel malty basis with notes of rum and raisin. Taste is moderately sweet caramel malty, notes of rum are intermingled and have a pull-down effect on rather airy, citrusy and piney hop flavours. Unusual composition that is worth a try.

Can at and thanks to James, 26/03/16. Rich amber orange with a decent light beige covering. Nose is caramel malt, light floral tunes, sweet malt, hint of pine, tangerine. Taste comprises orange marmalade, light pine, apricot, red grapefruit, touch of caramel. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi aggressive hop bitterness and a rising boost in the close with a subtle rum barrel tickle that definately adds to the boost. Decent enough offering ... exceeded my expectations.
