Vågsbygs. Golden color with a white head. Aroma and flavor is spices, fruit, malt, citrus, coriander, orange. Easy drinkable.

500ml bottle, #2899, bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Firm, chalk white head over a next-to-clear golden body, spotty lacing. Prominent spiced fruity wheat on the nose. Well spiced flavours with moments of cloves, yeasty fruits and citrus. Spiced wheat fruity ending with a bitter twist. Medium bodied. Went fine as a partner to our halibut hot pot dinner. Quite alright. (Tromsø, 28.12.2024).

Bottle @ home. Unclear golden body under a nice, foamy white head. Aroma is pale malt, wheat, citric fruity and a spicy touch. Taste goes in the same direction with medium sweet malt/wheat, a bit spicy yest, orange peel and a light spicy touch. Balanced bitterness. Balanced body with a fine, refreshing aftertaste. A nice and refreshing beer with a spicy touch that goes fine with a fish dish. Glad a have a few bottles left.

Luke 12/24, en 0,5 flaske fra statsnissens utvalg i Verksgata: nesten helt klar gylden med fint skum som varer til bunns. Anslag av julekrydder (kardemomme og nellikspiker?) i en myk maltkropp som også bærer preg av stilen - koriander, banan, litt citrus og urter. Fin kryddersmak i avslutningen, dog uten at jeg kommer til å kjøpe en ny flaske.

Nice bubbly-creamy longlasting head, hazy dark orangy color. Aroma is slightly dry floral, leafs, cloves, flowers, grass, pepper corn, wheat, yeast, citrus, hops. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish floral, leafs, bark, cloves, grass, flowers, minerals, wheat, pepper corn, hay, paper, hints of harsh orange peel. Medium to longlasting bitterness, slightly harsh sour-ish floral mouthfeel. Fair enough.

Bottle. A hazy golden colored beer with a nice white head. Quite spiced, coriander-ish aroma with a good dash of allspice and orange zest. Some maltyness and generic fruityness. It’s semi-dry on the palate, nicely carbonated, with a gentle bitterness. Orange zest, spices and generic fruityness in the flavor, with some pale malts in the back. Medium length finish. Not very Christmasy but would probably nice with some of the seasonal food. 241129
