330 ml can, at Cardinal, Stavanger. ABV is 4.7%. Slightly hazy golden to orange colour, small white head. Nice aroma of malts, a hint of caramel. Slightly citric mouthfeel. Decent flavour too, sufficient malts and an acceptable bitterness (30 IBU). An enjoyable pilsener!

Hazed golden pour and a fine head. Ok lacing. Pleasant intensity in the aroma. Balanced sweetness and bitterness. Also a fine carbonation level. Bready, malty, fruity and herbal flavor [Can from Vaaland 1889 in Bryne, Norway]

7-3-6-3-12 Can, #0004, 11 months before bbd Pours slightly hazy yellow, with a big creamy head. Aroma is malty notes of bread, hay and honey, as well as floral hops with slightly spicy notes. Medium body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is malts with bread crust, hay and honey, as well as floral hops with grass. Pitch dry finish.

Taste is slightly harsh mineraly, weeds, sour grass, bark, minerals, paper, dried grain, cardboardleafs. Medium to longlasting bitterness, slightly harsh sour-ish floral mouthfeel. Boring.

0,33 boks fra Vaaland 1889, via Brynes Ekspedisjon, hjemme på terrassen i sommersolen: lett uklar gylden med ok skum. Lys malt, litt citrus og urter. God maltsmak. En velbalansert og lettdrikkelig sommerforfriskning, velegnet til helårsbruk.
