This yellow pale ale has notes of grapefruit, gooseberry and lychee on the nose, leading to a very crisp character and mouth-filling citrus flavour.

[Cask at the Hope Tap (JDW), Reading.] A hazy straw coloured pour a ring of white head; lemony citrus aroma; sweet lemony taste; and a watery bitter citrus finish. Instantly forgettable, like most citrusy session pale ales these days.

Cask handpull at The Harp Chandos Place, Clear gold lasting white head. Bit of nettle bit bitter. Bit too aggressive. As Nick said its too much hop for the gravity. Ok though.

Keg at the London Brewers' Market. Pours clear clear gold with a tight, creamy white head. Pretty classic golde, some biscuits, a little pale grain, lemony hops. Light bodied with fine tomaverage carbonation. Good balance in the finish, dry biscuits, lightly bitter hay, lemon peel. Nice golden ale, to be fair.
