Black. No head. Good chocolate aroma, has a nice barrel aroma. On the palate, this is dry, lots of cognac. The base is predominantly chocolatey, which gets dry and with a shot of alcohol as a result of the treatment. The barrel seems to dominate - there's probably a lot of sugars because the body is solid, but they get dominated.

500ml @ Ryan's (thx for the beer!) shared with Farees, Josh, and Alex.
Aroma: a bit abrasive (as usual) cognac barrel, slightly smoky.
Taste: along the same lines, moderately sweet, nice body, very inky, loads of abrasive cognac barrel.
Overall: well, this is a miss, hehe.

Poured from 500mL bottle. Near black with small beige head. Boozy dry cognac, slightly leathery, okay. Least favourite of the three Immortalis I've tried so far.

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a dark brown foamy head with some retention and some lacing notes. Aroma of deep rich chocolate notes with some Cognac barrel woody notes. Taste is also a mix of deep rich chocolate notes with Cognac woody notes with a semi-dry finish and notes of vanilla. Body is above average with oily texture and good carbonation with some discernible alcohol notes. Solid BA stout with great level of complexity.
