Can: Poured a cloudy deep burgundy color ale with a small off-white foamy head with limited retention and some lacing. Aroma of sweet caramelized malt notes with light grainy notes and residual sugar notes. Taste is also a mix of sweet caramelized malt notes with light grainy notes and some fruity notes. Body is full with medium carbonation with some warming alcohol notes. Intense barleywine and glad I shared the bottle many ways.

Can, 473 ml, bottled on 8 FEB 2022, from and with Philippe Boutin (merci!), at home, savoured on 29 April 2023; eye: mahogany, opaque, ring of beige head , no lacing; nose: fruity, malt, alcohol, residual sugar, light menthol; mouth: fruity, malt, alcohol, residual sugar, light menthol, finale in alcohol with presence of brown sugar, full-bodied, average carbonation, mildly sweet, lightly alcoholic texture; in summary: correct FRANÇAIS
Canette, 473 ml, embouteillée le 8 FEB 2022, de et avec Philippe Boutin (merci!), chez nous, savourée le 29 avril 2023; œil : acajou, opaque, anneau de mousse beige, pas de dentelle; nez : fruité, malt, alcool, sucre résiduel, léger menthol; bouche : fruité, malt, alcool, sucre résiduel, léger menthol, finale en alcool avec présence de cassonade, corsée, carbonatation moyenne, moyennement sucrée, texture légèrement alcoolique; en résumé : correct
