Poured from 473mL can @ Weathered 2023. Near black with small beige head. Coffee, vanilla, bourbon, nice balance.

Can: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a large dark brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of sweet fudge notes with some floral coffee and some vanilla and bourbon notes. Taste is a mix of sweet fudge notes with some vanilla and bourbon notes with some floral coffee notes. Body is full with a nice creamy texture and good carbonation with light warming alcohol notes. Nice pastry stout though maybe a tad too sweet.

Bottle at Weathered 2022, Vancouver
Dark brown, almost black colour. Strong chocolate aroma, hint of coffee. It's full bodied, very sweet, syrupy, the sweetness is cut by the alcohol and by the roastiness of the coffee; less complexity than the Propeller version. Very good.

Can at Weathered 2022, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out lots of complex dark roasted coffee, as well as bourbon and vanilla further in the background. Flavour is rich and complex, with lots of dark roast coffee, light vanilla, and wonderful bourbon character. Loads of decadent coffee character that combines well with the bourbon. Excellent.

A pour at I hope not a super spreader event Weathered. Appearance: dark brown with a dark beige head. Aroma: coffee, bourbon, and chocolate. Taste: along the same lines, thick, maybe a bit sludgy. Overall: good one.
